# Add existing items to a draft menu

## POST /v1/restaurants/{restaurantId}/menus/{menuPublicId}/items

Adds up to 50 existing restaurant menu items to one inactive menu. Expected counts prevent applying the request to a menu that changed after review. Organization-boundary tokens also require fiest.organization.read.

## Authentication

Send an OAuth access token in the `Authorization` header as
`Bearer $FIEST_ACCESS_TOKEN`.

Required scopes: `fiest.restaurant.read`, `fiest.menu.read`, `fiest.menu.structure.write`

## Parameters

### 400 — The request parameters are invalid.
