# Update a draft menu item

## PATCH /v1/restaurants/{restaurantId}/menus/{menuPublicId}/items/{menuItemPublicId}

Updates only reviewed name, price, description, visibility, or kitchen-display fields on one unshared item in one inactive draft. Pass the unchanged version returned by the inspection operation so a concurrent edit fails safely. This operation never publishes the menu. Organization-boundary tokens also require fiest.organization.read.

## Authentication

Send an OAuth access token in the `Authorization` header as
`Bearer $FIEST_ACCESS_TOKEN`.

Required scopes: `fiest.restaurant.read`, `fiest.menu.read`, `fiest.menu.structure.write`
